Review
This is a quick review applies to version 3.3
Videocharge - processing of one or several Video, Audio, or Image files. A full-range editor, solving Interlace Video problems.
Includes enhanced DVD Ripper and DVD Player, and also works with a group of VOB files using index information from IFO files.
Ability to FTP upload of generated files, supports command-line, includes help system and Wizard.
The following full-length review applies to version 3.1
VideoCharge is another video editing program that differs from others in that it has an audio tool and does not need to decompress videos while working on them. Plus it has an integrated FTP client to upload files. It is primarily focused on web video and is able to process Flash videos in their original format without the need of conversion.
All operations and settings are drastically simplified and don't require special knowledge. So users can fix the prompt indexation of WMV files, avoid difficulties when starting a WMV from a desired point, and convert videos from one format to another.
The conversion process is fast, due the program's original method of extracting images from frames and saving them into image formats. Since the program is specialized in video, users can split, join, delete and perform many other actions over video and sound files, such as creating thumbnails in sequence with the video. Its support for video formats is really wide and ranges from MPEG to DVD Vob files.
In comparison with the Full and Pro editions, Basic version lacks the ability to add the watermark protection to the videos and instant video processing has no re-compression; but it still can edit videos and upload uncompressed files. The version 3.1 features two important changes: bug fix for MP4 video, and improvement in conversion using the H264 codec. |
- Edits, joins, and trims video files.
- Supports most video formats.
- Converts to other video formats.
- FTP client.
|
- No video compression.
- No watermark protection.
- Basic video edition.
